1308297 Fluorocarbon polymer dispersions PLASTIC COATING RESEARCH CO Ltd 5 March 1970 [18 March 1969] 14031/69 Heading C3P A coating composition comprises finely divided polyvinyl fluoride and another finely divided fluorocarbon polymer dispersed in a solvent/diluent which is capable of dissolving or at least swelling part of the polyvinyl fluoride at elevated temperatures at or below the fusion point thereof, but not at ambient temperatures. In the examples the composition comprises polyvinyl fluoride, polytetrafluoroethylene, dibutyl phthalate, carbon black, trichloroethylene, dimethyl phthalate, and tricresyl phosphate. Steel coupons, a wood saw and various metal workpieces are coated with the compositions and stored.
