Abstract

1307939 Electro-photography CANON K K 13 March 1970 [15 March 1969(2) 23 May 1969(2)] 12256/70 Heading G2H A photographic plate in a frame holder 3 having registration holes 4 is conveyed by means of a pair of endless conductive belts 17 and an endless belt 18 past charger 5, exposure station 30, liquid development device 8, fixing device 16 and dryer 14. An earthed conductive roller 40 after charger 5 makes contact with holder 3, (but not the plate) to dissipate the charge thereon. In multi-colour reproduction, the direction of passage of the plate is reversed after development and the plate passes a second dryer 11, charger 6 and conductive roller 41 before further exposure and return to developer device 8.
