Abstract

1307502 Knitting machines ELITEX-ZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI 7 Jan 1971 [16 Jan 1970] 906/71 Heading D1C The loop forming motion in a circular knitting machine is caused in part by movement of the needle 13 and in part by solely linear movement of a loop forming sinker 1 in a direction obliquely inclined to the movement of the needle. The sinkers 1 slide in tricks 3 in a sinker ring 4 lying at an angle α to the needles and having a lid 14 to retain the sinkers. Butt 16 is held against the cam surface of groove 15 by a spring 17 engaging projections 18. The front of the sinker comprises a finger 6 sliding in a groove 8 in sinker circle 9.
