Abstract

1306405 Safes; locks SAFELOK SYSTEMS Ltd 14 April 1970 [14 April 1969] 17646/70 Headings E1A and E2A A safe 20 having a pivotal bail 26 incorporated in its door hinge 25 for attaching it to a bridge type door handle of a vehicle is provided with a retractable locking bolt 32 adapted to co-operate with an apertured lug 33 on the door 24. The door is also provided with a rubber band to prevent damage to the vehicle and the safe serves to house the keys thereof. In a modification, see Fig. 1 (not shown), the safe is provided with a drawer having a lock furnished with a bolt adapted to be urged into locking engagement with a bail.
