1305657 Air line stop valve for automatic railway central buffer couplings GERMANY MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT 29 Dec 1970 61433/70 Heading B7T [Also in Division F2] A stop valve for use with the air line in a railway vehicle automatic central buffer coupling comprises a housing 10 wherein a valve member (not shown) having a stem 11 is rotatable through a predetermined angle between on and off positions by means of an actuating lever 14, end positions of the swinging movement of the lever being defined by lobes 18 and 19 of a stop element 17, wherein the stop element is adjustable in its position relative to the housing to vary the end positions by a peg 21 in a holes 20 entering a selected hole 22, and a toggle joint 23 which ensures that the lever 14 is urged into one or the other of its end positions. One limb of the joint 23 comprises telescoping sleeves 25, 28 axially loaded by a spring 32. One end of the body is connected to the lever 14 and the other end connected to the stop element by means of the other limb forming a radial arm of the stop element.
