1301588 Dehydrating apparatus for garbage KAWADA KOGYO KK 20 April 1970 [25 Nov 1969 (2)] 18683/70 Heading F4G An apparatus for dehydrating garbage by pressing out the moisture comprises two endless belts 23, 24 which are clad with pressure plates and driven by an electric motor 2 via the shafts 3, 7 and the sprockets 8, 9. Compression springs 38, 39 press the rollers 36 towards the rollers 35 so that a continuous pressure zone extends between the belts which are parallel and adjacent for a part of their runs. Wet garbage is fed from the left in Fig. 1 and is carried by the belt 23 into the pressure zone.
