Abstract

1301411 Stacking articles KOMBINAT NAGEMA VEB 29 April 1971 12206/71 Heading B8C In a device for forming several stacks lying side by side, by expelling goods (e.g. biscuits K) from vertical stack shafts 1-3 on to a multi row conveyer 5 located parallel to the stack shafts 1-3, transfer elements 9 controlled by a common drive system are arranged in succession beside the conveyer, each element consisting of a double push member acting on two adjacent stack shafts and arranged one above the other, member 11 mounted beside the double push member 9 for the transference of the stack into the second row of the conveyer 5. As shown, in which the stack shafts 1-3 are curved and through which biscuits K are fed by a vibrator 29, the stack formation commences with the expulsion of a half-stack from the shafts 1-3 by the push members 9 on to a half stack already positioned on the conveyer 5. The stack with a counter holder 10 pivoted above the conveyer 5 to act as an abutment during the transference of goods in two layers into the first row of the conveyer, and a collector push formed in a previous operation is pushed by the member 11 into a second conveyer row, and the member 11 between stacks 2 and 3 pushes the stack in the second row into the third row of the conveyer which is then stepped forward by one stack row. The transfer elements are driven by a cam controlled linkage from a drive shaft 13.
