Abstract
1387959 Feeding and stacking sheets, grouping biscuits SIG SCHWEIZERISCHE INDUSTRIE-GES 20 June 1973 [21 June 1972] 29270/73 Heading B8R Biscuits 1 are fed on to a sloping table 2 to abut a movable bifurcated member 3, Fig. 1. The member 3 moves down to the position of Fig. 3, over a receiver 7, followed by the biscuits, and plungers 5, 6 are advanced against the biscuits, plunger 5 engaging one biscuit and plunger 6 a plurality. The member 3 then moves to the position of Fig. 4, so that a batch 1<SP>1</SP> of biscuits is stacked in the receiver 7, the remainder 1 of the biscuits being held back by the plungers and a safety stop 4. The receiver is then swung about axis 8 to an unloading position and returned empty, while the member 3 moves up to its initial position and the members 4, 5, 6 are retracted.
