1300373 Controlling fuel injection electrically SOC DES PROCEDES MODERNES D'INJECTION SOPROMI 1 Jan 1970 [12 Feb 1969] 101/70 Addition to 1192201 Heading G1N [Also in Division H3] In an improvement of the fuel injection control device claimed in claims 1 and 2 of the Specification, 1192201 the uni-junction transistors T805 forming part of the delay element has its emitter connected firstly by way of resistors 802a, 802b, to the junction of resistor 802 and capacitor 806 connected to the collector of the transistor T710 of the bi-stable multi-vibrator, and secondly to the emitter of a transistor T855 adapted to block the bi-stable multi-vibrator. In operation, a negative pulse, initiated in accordance with engine rotation, is applied to the base of transistor T710 to thereby render T710 and T705 conductive. At this instant capacitor 806 is charged until the voltage on 806 and the voltage V B2 , representative of an engine operating parameter, have a predetermined proportionality, when T805 becomes conductive causing capacitor 806 to discharge quickly since the transistor T855 also becomes conductive. When T855 becomes conductive, T705 is returned to its blocked state. Diode 856 prevents modification in the injection duration produced by a modification in the frequency of operation, and may be a constant intensity diode or may be replaced by an equivalent arrangement such as transistors operating as generators under constant intensity conditions.
