Abstract

1299994 Colouring footwear of p.v.c. ASKIM GUMMIVAREFABRIK AS 27 Jan 1970 [28 Jan 1969] 3996/70 Heading D1B Footwear of P.V.C. is coloured by applying thereto a solution of a dye in an organic solvent, allowing the solvent to evaporate and the dye to migrate into the P.V.C. material, the dye being soluble in the plasticizer used to make the polymer. Azo, aniline, azine, xanthine and anthraquinone dyes are used and the solvents employed include methyl ethyl ketone and acetone. The following abridgments are included in this series since the Specifications were, through an error, not allotted to this Group. References to them will be found in the indexes to this volume.
