Abstract

1298421 Insulator assembly INTERPACE CORP 1 June 1971 [5 June 1970] 18291/71 Heading H2C An insulator assembly attached to a vertical post 10 has a hinge B1, B2 with its axis inclined upwardly and outwardly of the post. The outer end of the hinge has a ceramic insulator element 2 bolted thereto, the insulator carrying a bracket 6 to retain a cable clamp 4. The hinge assembly may be replaced by a fixed pin mounted at an angle to the pole and a continuous sleeve surrounds the pin which replaces sleeves 19 and 21. The insulator element may extend at any required angle with respect to the post.
