Abstract
1296156 Humidifying air O W SCHOEN JNR 21 July 1970 35348/70 Heading B1R An apparatus for producing air with controlled humidity comprises, in sequence, a pressurized dry air source, a precision balanced pressure regulator, a flow control device, a heat exchanger, and an osmotic humidifying chamber. The chamber is divided ito an upper and a lower part by a Semi-permeable membrane of polyethene, gold beaters skin or Cellophane (T.M.). Air passes into the upper part of the chamber where the necessary amount of water vapour from the lower part is added via the membrane.
