Locking nuts.-A washer 6, formed with flanges 8 to engage three or more sides of a nut, is furnished with an arm 9, the end of which is formed with a spike to be driven into the part 4 clamped by the nut. In a modification, the end of the arm 9 is bent over the edge of the part 4. The washer serves as a wrench to turn the nut.
