Abstract
1294747 Valves VORONEZHSKY ORDENA TRUDOVOGO KRASNOGO ZNAMENI ZAVOD KUZNECHNO - PRESSOVOGO OBORUDOVANIA IMENI MI KALININA 2 April 1970 15647/70 Heading F2V A three-way duplex valve for controlling clutches and brakes of press forging equipment has two similar valve members 2 each formed with closure members 3 and 5 which connect the work line 9 to either a high pressure line 15 via chambers 12 and 11 or a low pressure line 10. The valve members 2 are actuated by electromagnetically-operated pilot valves 19 which connect chambers 22, normally connected to exhaust at 23, to high pressure in chamber 12 via lines 25, receivers 27 and adjustable throttles 26. In the event of a malfunction of one closure member the work line 9 is connected to low pressure and the pressure in the receiver 27 of the valve which is in the position shown on the left exhausts due to the interconnecting lines 16, 17 while the pressure in the other receiver remains high. Closure member 6 allows a restricted communication between chambers 12, 13 in closed position to pressurize receiver 27. A micro-switch 32 operated by differential pressure on piston 31 indicates a malfunction.
