Abstract

1294148 Curtain rails MITSUI BUSSAN K K 22 May 1970 [24 May 1969] 25017/70 Heading A4B. A curtain rail comprises an extruded box member having a top wall 2b and opposite side walls 2a, at least one of the walls having one or more webs 1a,1b formed integrally with the structure on its inner surface, the or each of the webs defining one or more runner tracks 1c, the side walls extending below the level of the runner tracks, and at least one of the walls extending to such a distance as to extend below the top of a curtain suspended by the rail, and wherein flanges 3 are formed at the top of the rail to co-operate with an anchor plate 4 to secure the rail in position. The webs 1a may project from each side, and T-shaped member 1b (or L-shaped members), Fig.5 (not shown) may produce the curtain tracks. Flanges 5 facilitate mounting. Part-circular moulded portions 9 may be provided to enable an end-plate to be screwed on.
