Recoil apparatus. - Consists in arranging the spring-loaded valve for reducing the resistance to run-out at high elevations at the end of an extension of the pistonrod. As shown, the apparatus comprises a piston c connected by a rod b to the gun a and formed with an extension g moving in a cylinder e. This extension is made with a passage j, at the end of which the epring- loaded valve k is situated.
