Abstract

1292511 FET circuits HONEYWELL Inc 6 March 1970 [17 March 1969] 10887/70 Heading H3T A transistor circuit for obtaining an output voltage at terminal 23 equal to an input voltage applied at terminal 21 with respect to the same reference potential comprises FET's 10, 14 connected source to drain in a series circuit with resistors 30, 18 and 31, the value of the resistors being so chosen to obtain the equality between input and output voltages. Transistor 14 is connected as a constant current source for transistor 10 and the value of resistor 30 is such that the voltage drop across it is equal and opposite in polarity to the voltage existing between the gate and source electrodes of 10. Transistors 10, 14 may be a matched pair with the value of resistor 30 being made equal to the sum of resistors 18, 31. The circuit may suitably, be connected to a power supply having its positive and negative terminals connected to the ends of the series connection and with an intermediate terminal connected to a reference potential terminal.
