Abstract
1290579 Picture &c. frames; joints J B WOOD 19 April 1971 [5 March 1970 22 Oct 1970] 10546/70 and 50101/70 Headings A4X and A4H A picture &c. frame, Fig. 1, comprises four elongated members A, B of rectangular section and four corner inserts G, the inserts G having tapered spigots F fitting in sockets E in the members A, B. Members A, B and inserts G have channel section recesses C, H for the picture D. In a further form, Fig. 3, the elongated members J are extruded with a triangular section and have triangular cavities K for triangular spigots R. Slightly flexible extensions O and X of angle section on the members J and the inserts Q receive the picture. The inserts have a mockmitre corner T. The members and inserts may include self-adhesive decorative tape (N, S). The part of the frame below recess C, Fig. 1, and the extension O may have holes for hanging. The parts comprise wood or plastics.
