1333712 Joints; picture frames R A DAVIES 30 Nov 1970 [10 Dec 1969] 60305/69 Headings A4H and A4X] [Also in Division E2] Four mouldings 10 of a picture frame are joined to form a rectangular frame by four corner fasteners each comprising an L-shaped, as shown, or a right triangular shaped, Fig. 2 ( not shown) plate, said plate including pegs or pins 14 depending substantially at a right angle that are pressed into holes 11 in the mouldings 10. The pegs may be serrated. The edges of the plate adjacent the right angles may include depending flanges. The axes of the holes or pegs may be slightly inclined. The fasteners may comprise plastics, and the mouldings may be glued at their corners.
