Abstract
1353029 Aquarium frames D A VERRINDER and V S VERRINDER 17 March 1972 [30 March 1971 4 Aug 1971] 8145/71 and 36581/71 Heading A1A [Also in Divisions B8 and F2] An aquarium frame (Fig. 5) comprises side limbs of moulded plastics material and corner jointing members having projecting flat fingers 11 secured in slots in the side limbs by the use of adhesives or welding. The exposed innermost surfaces of the assembled components are flush with one another, to facilitate the fitting of glass walls. The side limbs have no undercut surfaces so that they may be formed by moulding. They may be chamfered as at 19. The Specification also discloses (see Fig. 3) a frame having mitred side limbs held together by L-shaped coupling members 6 of dove-tailed cross-section, and a frame construction similar to that of Fig. 5 but where the fingers are of dove-tailed cross-section. This matter is not claimed. (For Figures see next column)
