1289324 Spraying SAMUEL PEGG & SON Ltd 2 Feb 1970 [12 April 1969] 18842/69 Heading D1L A liquid distributor unit comprises a hollow coupling connecting means for impelling treating liquid and at least one annular opening which is arranged to discharge the liquid in a horizontal plane. As shown the distributor comprises a central vertical hollow stem 1 provided at its upper end with a pivotable carrying handle 2 and secured to its lower end a plurality of radial fins 3. Tubular connector 4, arranged concentrically around stem 1 defines an annular inlet for the unit. Ring 5 and connector 4 carry stays 6 which together with cylindrical collar 7 support annular plate 8 having perforations 9. A shallow-domed cap 12 facilitates distribution of the liquor emanating from inner perforations 9. The machine shown in Fig. 2 containing the adaptor of Fig. 1 can be used to dye goods in packaged or loose condition. Facilities for reversing the flow of liquor may be provided.
