Abstract
1289007 Forming yarns SOC RHODIACETA 22 July 1970 [24 July, 1969] 35549/70 Headings D1F and D1W Interlaced yarn is produced by feeding undrawn thermoplastic filaments through an interlacing device and subsequently drafting the interlaced yarn so formed with a draft ratio less than normally employed in a spinning process. Freshly extruded polyamide or polyester filaments may pass directly from a spinning unit to an interlacing jet such as described in Specification No. 1,198,440, and subsequently, i.e. with intermediate wind-up, through two successive sets of drafting rolls with a yarn heating plate therebetween.
