1287337 Floor coverings AGILITY SPORTS PRODUCTS Ltd 19 April 1971 [21 March 1970] 13758/70 Heading A4S [Also in Division A6 B2 C5] A flexible floor covering for games comprises upper and lower layers 1, 2 flexibly bonded together by a synthetic plastics or latex adhesive, the upper layer consisting of a felt base 3 and a non-woven surface 4 of horizontally laid films e. g. nylon, and the lower layer consisting of rubberized animal hair. The edges (5) of the covering are bonded or sealed by rubber or flexible plastics material the bonding or sealing extending over peripheral parts 6 of the lower layer. The lower layer is approximately two to five times as thick as the upper layer, 4À75 m. m., in the case of the upper layer, and 9À5 m.m. to 25 m.m., in the case of the lower layer being specified, and standard size golf holes may be made in the covering.
