Abstract
1287028 Photoconductive composition EASTMAN KODAK CO 14 May 1970 [19 May 1969] 23423/70 Heading H1K A photoconductive composition comprises a photoconductor and a mixture of a haloarylketone-formaldehyde resin and either a vinyl resin or a polycondensate resin. In the specific embodiments the photoconductor is a toluidine, the vinyl resin is styrene or poly vinyl-m.bromo. benzoate, the polycondensate is a polycarbonate or a polyester of iso- or terephthalic acid and the haloarylketone-formaldehyde resin is a resin of mono- or dihaloacetophenone or 1-acetyl-4- bromo naphthalene with formaldehyde. The composition is coated on an electrically conducting organic layer on a cellulose acetate support to form an electrophotographic plate. Many other materials are specified for the composition and the conductive support.
