Abstract
1287003 Gas fuelled lighters ZENZA BRONICA KOGYO KK 27 Oct 1969 52629/69 Heading F4F In a gas fuelled lighter having a resilient porous throttle 13 situated in the flow path between a reservoir 2 and a burner nozzle 9, an adjustment member 14 is urged against the throttle 13 by the pressure of the gas in the reservoir so as to maintain the flow through said throttle 13 constant regardless of the pressure in the reservoir. The adjustment member 14 is slidable within a support 1 and is biased towards the throttle 13 by a coil spring 16, the other side of the throttle 13 abutting an apertured auxiliary adjustment member 6 urged thereagainst by a screw-threaded control member 3 having an operating wheel 5. The throttle 13 comprises a resilient throttle disc (13a, Fig. 2, not shown) of porous polyurethane, a metallic plate (13b) of smaller diameter than the disc (13a), and a plate (13c) of metallic mesh.
