Abstract

1285721 Ventilators COLT INTER NATIONAL Ltd 8 Dec 1969 [12 Dec 1968] 59103/68 Heading F4V A ventilator comprises louvres each having a front section 11 and a rear section 12 inclined to one another, a slot 21 upstream of the bend defined by the sections and facing upstream in the air passages defined by the louvres, and gutters 17, 19 to collect water draining down the rear sections 12. The sections 11, 12 may be separate, as shown, or integral with pressed out slots. The rear sections 12 may be fixed or hinged to the side frames of the ventilator. A bird guard 80 is provided. Air flow through the ventilator may be natural or forced.
