Abstract

1284917 Refrigerated cargo boxes GENTEX CORP 16 Dec 1969 [10 Feb 1969] 61299/69 Heading F4H [Also in Division B8] A readily disassembled refrigerated cargo box 10 having the shape shown in Fig. 1 is constructed from top, side and base panels releasably coupled together at their edges. The releasable connection between the edges of adjacent panels, e.g. 12 and 14, is constituted by angle members 270, 276 having flanges 272, 278 spaced fo form grooves receiving sealing gaskets 274, 280. The angle members are welded to frame members 62, 268 which overlap and are secured to the edges of the panels 14, 12. The panels comprise polyurethane foam sandwiched between inner and outer sheets of e.g. fibre-glass epoxy resin laminate or aluminium.
