Abstract

1284328 Liquid-ring pumps NASH ENG CO 15 June 1970 [16 June 1969] 28931/70 Heading F1C In a liquid-ring pump in which the rotor 10 is located on a conical port member 16, the opposed surfaces thereof extend at 1 and 2 beyond their common region of contact and overlap substantially cylindrical portions 3 and 4 of the opposite surface. This arrangement facilitates relative axial adjustment between the rotor and conical member to compensate for wear, without disassembly and further machining of the pump.
