1284269 Composite castings; treating castings FOSECO INTERNATIONAL Ltd 4 March 1970 [19 March 1969] 14538/69 Heading B3F [Also in Divisions C1 and C7] Porous material, e.g. coke, is impregnated with a molten metal and the product cooled by depositing it into a fluidized bed of particulate material, e.g. sand. The bed may be maintained in a fluidized state or allowed to settle. Metals mentioned are the alkali metals, magnesium, aluminium and copper. Alloys of these metals are also included in the disclosure.
