Abstract
1377442 Production of particulate inorganic material DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 10 Feb 1972 [17 Feb 1971] 6319/72 Heading B5A In a method for the production of particulate inorganic material, the molten inorganic material is poured into a mould containing metal bodies, allowed to solidify, and the metal bodies removed, e.g. magnetically. A further crushing step may be necessary to obtain the desired grain size. The inorganic material may comprise one or more of Al 2 O 3 , ZrO 2 and SiO 2 . The metal bodies, which may be of iron or steel, are preferably of uniform size and may be spherical, or cuboid.
