Abstract

1282787 Reactors COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE 23 Oct 1969 [28 Oct 1968] 51987/69 Heading G6C In a nuclear reactor, the reactivity meter signals are modified in correspondence with the reactor control rod adjusting signals. The modifying signal is developed in the circuit 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, connected to the reactivity meter 1. The circuit parameters are changed as the reactor control rod adjustments, 10, 13, are altered. The direction of reactivity variation is selected at 10 and the required variation produced by the mechanism 13. The output of 1 is connected to the integrator, 4, through the differentiator 3 and is applied to the meter 1 through the threshold circuit 5. The gate 12 is controlled through the delay system 20, 22, 23 to permit the initial adjustment of the output of 1 to be effected prior to a further alteration, i.e. the regulating sequence cannot commence before the control rod has stopped.
