Abstract

1282490 Watch cases E PIQUEREZ 16 Sept 1969 [16 Sept 1968] 45529/69 Heading G3T A watch case 1 comprises a glass 3 fitted in an annular mounting member 6, grooves 2, 5 in the mounting member and case respectively and an insert 4 in the grooves for sealably securing the mounting member and case. The member 6 is made of metal and the glass is secured to it by swaging or bonding. In a modification a second insert, located in a further groove in the mounting and a groove in the glass, secures the glass to the mounting.
