1282407 Gripping tongs SCHLOEMANN AG 21 April 1971 [21 April 1970] 10452/71 Heading B8H In gripping tongs for lifting circular-section elongate loads 14, the lower end of each gripper arm 1 is provided with a load-engaging roller 7. The arms are pivotally interconnected at 2 and are provided with a pair of pivoted links 10 which support a third load-engaging roller 12. Preferably, two tongs are arranged in alignment one behind the other, their hinge pins being adapted as spacer elements.
