Abstract

1282045 Dispensing cartons BPB INDUSTRIES Ltd 28 July 1970 [31 July 1969] 38499/69 Heading B8P [Also in Division A4] A carton for packaging and dispensing a roll of sheet material is erected from a blank comprising front, rear and base panels 1, 3 and 2 respectively, having extensions 1a, 2a, 3a which are secured together to form end walls, and panels 4 and 5 whose extension 4a, 5a are secured together forming a flanged lid overlying the upper part of the carton. The lid is releasably locked in the closed position by engagement of tongues 7 on the extension 2a with slots 6 formed in the lid flange. The free end of the flange 5 is provided with a serrated edge 8 to facilitate dispensing of the roll of sheet material.
