Abstract

1281836 Dry shavers PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 28 Aug 1969 [31 Aug 1968] 42926/69 Heading B4B The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 1,281,834 but the claims are directed to a dry shaver having at least two shaving heads resiliently mounted so that their shear plates are relatively displaceable and arranged to abut one another at both their extremes of movement. The present Specification also discloses means for preventing relative movement of the shear plates in the direction of movement of the cutters, the means comprising a pin (38, Fig. 3) on one shear plate engaging with a slot (36, Fig. 2) on an adjacent plate.
