Straps and bands.-A safety belt for children comprises an adjustable belt 1, to which is secured on the outer side by rivets 5 or by sewing one or two other straps 4, on which are two running metal links 6 each having an eye 7. To secure the child in a perambulator, chair, &c., straps 9, one end of each of which is secured to the perambulator &c., are attached to the links 6 by means of the spring hooks 10 and the eyes 7. To support a child while learning to walk, a strap 11 is used, having a spring hook 12 at each end to engage with the eyes 7. The belt may be made of leather or other material, and the straps of the same material, or they may be elastic-
