Abstract

1280991 Vibratory conveyers ROEVACBELL Ltd 9 June 1969 [9 March 1968] 11627/68 Heading B8A [Also in Division F1] A vibratory device comprises a chamber 10 adapted to be connected to a supply of compressed air 12, an opening to the chamber and plate means 16 overlying the opening and urged into sealing relationship therewith solely by a plurality of springs 18 located outside the chamber and by the mass of the plate and/or the mass of the means to be vibrated by the device fixed to the plate. In a modification (not shown) the springs are leaf springs arranged such that rotary motion is imparted to the plate means in addition to linear motion. The device is suitable for transmitting vibratory movement to vibratory bowl or linear feeders.
