Abstract

1282254 Vibrating conveyers IBAG-VERTRIEB GmbH 19 Jan 1971 [19 Jan 1970] 2468/71 Heading B8A [Also in Division B2] A vibrating screen or vibrating conveyer case 1 rests on insulating elastic members 2 on a base 3. It is set into vibration by a generator forming at least part of the counter mass and comprising an off-balance shaft 4 in a housing with an additional counter-mass 5 engaged by coupling springs 6 and links 7. The vibration is elliptical with an axis ratio of between 1 : 2 and 1 : 4. The weight of the entire counter-mass is from one third to two thirds of the operating mass, the direction of the shorter axis being along the direction of the links 7 and that of the longer axis along the direction of the springs 6.
