Abstract

1,245,164. Vibrating conveyer. KLOCKNER-HUMBOLDT-DEUTZ A.G. 22 Jan., 1969 [23 Jan., 1968], No. 3670/69. Heading B8A. [Also in Division B2] A vibrating or screening conveyer 1 for hot bulk material is carried by a counter mass 2 by means of rubber blocks 8, 9 which are positioned between an element 7 secured to the conveyer and members 4, 3 secured to the mass 2. Cooling elements 10 having passages 12 therein for cooling liquid are inserted between each rubber block and its two supporting surfaces and plates 13 are secured to the elements 10 to shield the rubber blocks from the heat of the conveyer Each assembly of two cooling elements with a rubber block between is slid as a package between 7 and 4 or 3 while member 4 is secured by screws to member 3 to keep the block together. In Fig. 3, a conveyer trough 1<SP>1</SP> is driven by an eccentric shaft 14 and is supported on a number of assemblies whose cooling elements are connected in series.
