1277064 Cycle brakes T CAMPAGNOLO 16 Sept 1969 45639/69 Heading B7E A caliper cycle brake comprises arms 1 and 2 pivoted about a pin 3 and formed with respective extensions 8 and 4, the inner core 6 of an actuating sheathed cable passing through a hollow bolt 10 located in the end of arm 8 and being connected to arm 4, with the cable sheath 7 seated on the end 9 of the bolt, there being threaded on the bolt a nut 11, adjustment of which alters the relative positions of brake blocks C, with a rib 12 on the nut locatable in a groove of the arm 8 to lock the nut in position. An elastomeric ring 15 may be located in a peripheral groove 14 of the nut or the outer part of the nut formed of hard rubber.
