1276164 Testing hollow-ware FABBRICHE RIUNITE MISURATORI "SACOFGAS" S p A 12 June 1969 [13 July 1968] 29848/69 Heading G1S An apparatus for checking air-tight containers comprises a main unit 1 to hold the container 3 to be tested, Fig. 1 (not shown), a manometer consisting of two tanks 10 and 11, the lower one 10 containing mercury and having a manometer tube 12 communicating with the upper tank which contains a coloured liquid such as coloured distilled water, and which has a manometer tube 13 with inclined portion 15, means for introducing compressed air, and means placed along the manometer tube 13 of the upper tank to show the movements of the coloured liquid. The two tanks may be moved vertically relative to one another. Photo-cells 18, 19, 20 and 21 in conjunction with indicator lights on panel 6, Fig. 1 (not shown) indicate the movement of the coloured liquid.
