Abstract

1,271,489. Printing on curved surfaces. INTERPACE CORP. 24 Sept., 1970 [3 June, 1970], No. 45624/70. Heading B6C. Ceramic plates are printed in one or more colours by offset transfer members each carrying a different colour which are applied to each plate successively, the nature of the inks used being such that periods for drying between such impression are not necessary. Each transfer member carries a silicone surface upon which the design to be imprinted by the particular member is screen printed. Air pressure and vacuum means are used to effect contact between a plate and the imaged transfer member.
