Abstract

1,271,314. Frame joints. CRAWFORD DOOR EUROPEAN CO. A.B. 21 April, 1969, No. 20204/69. Heading E1J. A frame structure comprises bars 32, 33 connected by a member 47, the member having a portion secured to the first bar 32 by interlocking projections and recesses, and a portion located in an opening in the second bar 33 secured by a wedge (not shown). To assemble the bars, projections 48a, 48b on member 47 are slid into longitudinal recesses in bar 32, and bar 33 slid over the member and secured by a wedge inserted between curved portions 49a, 50a to forced walls 49, 50 outwardly. Panels are secured to bars 32, 33 by lists (45, Figs. 4 and 6, not shown) and to intermediate bars (24, 34, Figs. 2 and 3, not shown) by clamps (61, 64). In the door of Fig. 1 (not shown) sections 1, 2, 3 are hinged together.
