Abstract
1,271,008. Endless conveyers. L. ROSSI. 16 Dec., 1969 [16 Dec., 1968], No. 61349/69. Heading B8A. In a portable conveyer the conveyer support framework comprises a central section 11 with a foldable arm, formed of three sections 21, 22, 23, mounted at each end thereof, the section 11 being pivotally mounted at 13 to a member 8 itself rotatably mounted on a telescopic turret 5 carried by a vehicle 1. The section 11 is movable about the pivot 13 by an hydraulic actuator 17 and mounts at each end a member 26 to which the section 23 of the respective arms is pivotally attached. An hydraulic actuator 32 extends between the member 26 and the section 23 to pivot the latter which through levers 33, 34, 35, 36 acts to fold and unfold the remaining sections of each arm. A further hydraulic actuator 30 acting between the member 8 and the member 26 serves to pivot the arms relative to the central section. An endless belt 14 which passes around end rollers 24 is driven in the return run by a roller 40 and is tensioned by a roller 41 adjustably movable relative to the roller 40. The vehicle 1 has wheels 2 of variable track.
