Abstract

1,270,461. Electrostatic charging. RICOH K.K. April 28, 1969 [May 8, 1968], No. 21507/69. Heading G2H. A photo-conductive sheet is charged by applying, to a discharge electrode triangular voltage pulses (1). It is stated that although waveforms (1), (2) and (3) all give uniform positive corona, only waveform (1) gives substantially uniform negative corona. The charge applied is proportional to the frequency of the pulses.
