Abstract

126,918. Rutter, S. E., and Harris. D. J. Dec. 18, 1918. Razors, safety. A flexible double-edged blade 10 is clamped between a concave toothed guard 4 and a narrow backing-plate 8, thus enabling the greater part of both surfaces of the blade to be washed after the blade has been adjusted. The backing-plate 8 is provided with guide-pins 7 and with a screwed stem 9 engaging a screwed part 2 of a rotatable handle 1. The upper end 3 of the handle may be flanged over so as to secure it permanently to the guard 4.
