Abstract

126,858. Blackburn Aeroplane & Motor Co., and Booth, H. July 10, 1918. Hand-wheels.-Control wheels are provided with an open annular boss 4 and two diametrically opposite spokes 2, 3. The boss is grooved to receive a cable 7 and is rotated within a frame 5 which carries a roller 10 and has a stem 8 secured to the control lever. The rim 1 may be formed from built-up metal tube and may be filled with cork. The spoke 2 may carry a stop to limit the rotation of the wheel.
