1,264,954. Stabilizing photo-developed silver images. KODAK Ltd. June 13, 1969 [June 13, 1968], No. 28242/68. Heading G2C. An exposed and photo-developed photo-developable silver halide material is stabilized againstdeterioration of the image by treatment with an aqueous alkaline solution of a thiouracil, preferably 2- thiouracil or 4-methyl-2-thiouracil. The amount of alkali used is preferably just sufficient to dissolve the thiouracil.
