Abstract

1,264,299. Conductor arrangements. SIEMENS A.G. 29 Sept., 1970 [30 Sept., 1969], No. 46363/70. Heading H2H. In an electrical apparatus wherein a conductor is divided into two parallel conductive members in order to improve the cooling or other characteristics, any out of balance currents tending to flow in the parallel connected paths 1, 2 are eliminated by taking the conductors 1, 2 through a magnetizable iron member 11 in electrically opposite senses, the apparatus according to the invention further being supplied with circuit breakers 5, 6, in the conductors 1, 2 respectively. Apparatus having four parallel conductors is arranged in two similar arrangements as above and the two resulting arrangements combined to produce a single apparatus. A mechanical construction of the conductors passing through the magnetizable member is shown.
