Abstract

1,262,830. 3-(α-Methylphenethyl)-N-(phenylcarbamoyl)-sydnone imine. VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO-ISSLEDOVATELSKY KHIMIKO-FARMATSEVTICHESKY INSTITUT IMENI S. ORDZHONIKIDZE. 10 June, 1970, No. 28101/70. Heading C2L. The novel compound, 3-(α-methylphenethyl)- N-(phenylcarbamoyl)-sydnone imine, is obtained by reacting 3-(α-methylphenethyl)-syndone imine hydrochloride with phenyl isocyanate in a polar solvent in the presence of sodium acetate. Pharmaceutical compositions, having a stimulating effect on the central nervous system and suitable for oral administration, contain the above novel compound and pharmaceutically acceptable diluents.
